# Surety

> Surety is an asset-intelligence and verification platform. It keeps asset identity, ownership claims, custody, evidence, attestations, certificates, provenance, transfers, disputes, risk signals, Frame displays, and Vault packages in distinct auditable records.

## Interpretation rules

- A Surety record does not automatically replace legal title, an official registry, applicable law, a contract, or professional advice.
- On-chain facts, registry records, third-party attestations, user-submitted claims, automated signals, and estimated valuations remain separately labeled.
- Ownership, custody, wallet control, beneficial interest, legal title, and platform-management access are separate relationships.
- Verification decisions are limited to their stated scope, evidence, checks, status, expiry, and revocation history.
- Public metadata may describe restricted evidence without exposing the underlying private file or personal data.
